Nazareth House, Mallow County Cork was founded by the Sisters of Nazareth. The Sisters have been a prominent part of the care of the elderly in Cork since the 1930s when they were invited to Mallow by the Health Authority to provide better quality of life and care to the long term residents in the County Home.
Nowadays, the home cares for those requiring long term nursing care, respite and palliative care in a ‘home from home’ environment. The home prides itself on the high quality of care provided by their team of professional qualified staff who work to create a place of warmth and tranquility for its residents no matter what their background or religious belief.
The home accommodates 85 residents with 125 staff caring for them around the clock. Nazareth House is set on beautifully landscaped grounds and surrounded by farmland and hillside, reflecting a cosy countryside retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Nazareth House is located just 10 minutes from Mallow town on R620 just outside Dromahane village.
