Elm Hall Nursing Home is a purpose built care facility located on the outskirts of Celbridge, Co. Kildare. The home strives to provide a home from home environment where all residents are treated with dignity and respect. Residents and their families are encouraged to participate in the preparation of their individualised care plans. Care provided for at Elm Hall Nursing Home includes long term nursing care, palliative care, convalescent and respite care as well as independent living accommodation.

Accommodation consists of 60 spacious, single ensuite bedrooms and 2 twin ensuite bedrooms. Rooms are fully furnished and tastefully decorated, and come equipped with nurse call bell, comfortable seating, wardrobe, writing desk, multi channel TV, telephone point and heating temperature control. There are also 20 independent living bungalows located at the rear of the home.

Social and stimulating activities are central to Elm Hall Nursing Home’s holistic approach to the care of the elderly. Activities include arts and crafts, gardening, aromatherapy, current affairs and discussion, reminiscence therapy, musical entertainment, book club, exercises, bingo, cinema nights, boards games and quizzes, excursions, shopping trips and local community liaison.

A wide range of services are also available to residents at Elm Hall. Among which are 24 hour care, doctor on call, hairdresser, interdenominational prayer room and visiting interdenominational clergy as well as a range of visiting therapists and professionals from alternative therapists to dentists.

Elm Hall Nursing Home is located next to Elm Hall Golf Club and within close proximity to Hazelhatch Train Station. The care facility is set on 8 acres of landscaped land, providing the optimal tranquil environment for residents to enjoy.
